نویسندگان

چکیده

Background: Pollution and genetic factors have increased the likelihood of cancer in developing world. Cancer is now leading cause death young patients. Scientists are focusing on new treatments with a lower risk profile than traditional cytotoxic drugs. Nigella sativa (black seed) has been used for centuries by ancient cultures to treat variety ailments. Thymoquinone, main active compound found sativa, useful therapeutic agent various morbidities, including cancer. Aim: The review aims highlight thymoquinone's potential chemoprotective effects. Methods: most recent articles were using reputable websites such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Research Gate. Many titles, thymoquinone, breast cancer, leukemia, colon osteosarcoma, ovary so on, searches. Then information from vitro studies animal experiments was collected; preprint, article review, meta-analysis study all excluded. Results: Thymoquinone reduced cell viability induced programmed TQ causes cytotoxicity through mechanisms, induction reactive oxygen species inhibition NF-kB activity some cancers. Conclusion: promising future fewer side effects agents.

Regenerative Potential of Endometrial Stem Cells: A Mini Review

Recent findings in stem cell biology have opened a new window in regenerative medicine. The endometrium possesses mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) called endometrial stem cells (EnSCs) having specific regenerative properties linked to adult stem cells. They contribute in tissue remodeling and engineering and were shown to have immuno-modulating effects. Many clinical trials were undertaken to asce...

The Role of Adiponectin in Prostate Cancer: A Narrative Review

Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common type of cancer among men over 60 years old. The aggressiveness and mortality of PCa can be correlated with obesity. Adipose tissue-derived cytokines such as adiponectin may explain the correlation between PCa and obesity. Since the correlation between adiponectin and aggressive PCa is still not fully evaluated, we aimed to investigate the probable role o...

Role of micronutrients and natural antioxidants in fighting against HIV; a quick mini-review

Oxidative stress has been implicated in the progression of HIV to AIDS, since HIV usually replicates in a highly oxidized condition and CD4+ T lymphocytes can be activated via a cascade of internal oxidative pathways, which enhances the formation of proteins and enzymes. Thus, antioxidants should potentially be useful for the treatment and prevention of HIV infection as a new alterna...
